Add Unfollowers PRO from the Chrome Web Store. That's the entire setup — there's nothing to create an account for.
Open a profile and scan
Go to any Instagram profile while logged in, click the extension icon, then Scan. Keep the tab open while it works.
Read your dashboard
The results open in the extension's own dashboard, sorted into lists. Scan again later to see what changed.
Why it's safe to use
Most "unfollower" tools ask for your Instagram password. This one can't, because there's nowhere to send it.
Your password stays yours
The extension works inside the Instagram session you're already logged into. You never type your credentials anywhere but Instagram.
Scans stay on your device
Results are written to your browser's own storage. There's no server, no account and no upload — we couldn't read your lists if we wanted to.
You decide when to scan
Nothing runs in the background. A scan happens only when you click the button, which keeps your footprint on Instagram small.
No bulk follow or unfollow
Automating follows is what gets accounts actioned, so the extension doesn't do it. It gives you a tidy list of links instead.

Is Unfollowers PRO really free?
Yes. The current version is free, with no trial, no scan limit and nothing to buy inside the extension.
Do I have to log in or hand over my password?
No. There is no account and no login screen. The extension reads follower lists through the Instagram session already open in your browser, exactly as the page itself would.
Where do my results go?
Into your browser's local storage (IndexedDB), on the device that ran the scan. They aren't synced or uploaded, which also means they don't follow you to another computer.
Is my profile scanned automatically?
No. For stealth reasons, a scan runs only when you ask for one, which minimises the chance of Instagram noticing anything unusual.
Can I scan profiles other than my own?
Yes, any profile whose followers you can already see. It carries a slightly higher risk of detection than scanning your own account, so use it sparingly and at your own discretion. 😉
Does it work on large accounts?
It has been tested on accounts well past 10,000 followers. Bigger accounts simply take longer — leave the Instagram tab open until the scan finishes.
Can I bulk unfollow people with it?
No. Bulk follow and unfollow is exactly the behaviour Instagram punishes, so the extension doesn't offer it. You get an organised list of profile links to act on yourself.
How do I delete my data?
Remove a scanned profile from the dashboard, or uninstall the extension — that erases everything it stored. Nothing is left behind on our side, because nothing was ever sent there.
